| 36TH INTERNATIONAL ISTANBUL MUSIC FESTIVAL |
|
Music Festival will take place between June 6-30. Hosting more than 500 artists from Turkey and abroad, this year's festival will feature a total of 22 events, among them 2 symphony orchestras, 5 chamber orchestras and 6 chamber music concerts, 3 instrumental recitals, 4 vocal concerts, 1 family concert and 1 Ottoman and Baroque music concert. The festival venues this year include Topkapı Palace, the Süreyya Opera, the Archeological Museum, Türker İnanoglu Maslak Show Center (TİM) and the Bulgarian Church alongside the Hagia Eirene Museum. |

| 15TH INTERNATIONAL ISTANBUL JAZZ FESTIVAL |

The Festival will be held between 2-16 July 2008 under the sponsorship of Garanti Bank. On its 15th year, the Festival is getting ready to convert Istanbul into a city of jazz together with a special program and big names. |
